The mission and philosophy for the programs offered at C & S Healthcare Training and Staffing, LLC (CSHCTS) includes both the student and the healthcare consumer. The mission of the C & S Healthcare Training and Staffing is to prepare skilled health care professionals through standard teaching and client-centered clinical practice to meet the needs of the community and the health care industry. The Nursing Assistant program prepares students for employment in long-term care facilities, home health agencies and hospitals where basic bedside nursing care is needed. The Medication Administration Program prepares the students to address the medication administration needs of stable individuals who are living in DMH/DDS licensed, funded, or operated community residential programs that are their primary residences and/or are participating in day programs and short-term respite programs.
Opening a health care training center in the neighborhood to teach Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aid and Medication Administration Program (MAP) to improve the health behavior of individuals and communities as well as the living and working conditions that affect their health. Health education improves the health status of individuals, families, communities, states, and the nation; it also enhances the quality of life of all people.
It is the right of every client to receive quality nursing assistant care from trained personnel. The student acquires such knowledge and skills through planned classroom theory/lab instruction and on the-job training
This state approved Nursing Assistant course provides instruction and hands on experience in the classroom, lab and clinical setting on the basic Nursing assistant skills required to work in a variety of health care settings. Skills include all elements of safety measures, personal care, body mechanics, vital sign measurements, communication, observation, infection control and resident rights. Exploration of geriatric care and care of the person with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias is included.
The school also offers Medication Administration Program (MAP), per Massachusetts Department of Human services it’s a program that was implemented to increase the safety and security of medication administration for individuals with mental illness or mental retardation living in licensed or certified community-based residences. DPH serves as the lead agency for the Program which is administered jointly with the Departments of Mental Health (DMH) and Developmental Services (DDS). Therefore, as a qualified Trainer CSHCTS will be offering the MAP to individuals who are interested in helping those in needs.
All courses will be taught in English only! At CSHCTS we offer optional tutoring for anyone who might need extra help understanding the course contexts. The optional tutoring can be done by appointment only off class scheduled hours at extra charge.
